Young patient, 28 years old, non-smoker with a thin gingival biotype, presenting multiple recessions around lower anterior teeth. The patient reported dificulty and pain when brushing these teeth and sensitivity to cold.  The patient was health and had no other periodontal issues.

The problem was addressed with a multiple stage approach starting with a frenectomy to eliminate the pull of the lip muscles on the gingival tissue. After that connective tissue grafta were used to increase the thickness of the gingival tissue and to cover the exposed root surfaces, from first premolar on the right to the first premolar on the left. This allowed us to in crease tissue resistance to daily toothbrushing and prevent recessions in the future. The final clinical conditon is 10 weeks after treatment.
